Mr. Jordan Pace
Treasurer

Jordan Pace is the Assistant Controller of Romulus Restaurant Group, a multi-state restaurant operator of IHOP and Slim Chicken’s. He joined Romulus in January 2015. Prior to joining Romulus Restaurant Group, Mr. Pace worked four and a half years at Ernst & Young, LP assisting public and private clients on tax related issues. Mr. Pace received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Accounting and Masters of Taxation degree from W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. He is also a Higley High School Alumni.

As assistant controller and senior tax associate in public accounting, Mr. Pace has gained considerable experience in tax accounting, financial reporting, internal auditing, finance, and treasury management. His background provides the Board with broad experience in finance and accounting matters.

Mr. Mark Swisher
Director

Mr. Swisher has served in multiple capacities for non-profit organizations supporting the Higley Unified School District over the past 11 years. He is a graduate from Arizona State University and has worked as in IT Executive in the valley for over 32 years.
Mr. Swisher has served as the Event Coordinator for the Ken Vandehei Memorial Golf Classic since its’ inception in 2006. This event has raised more the $195,000 for scholarships awarded to graduating seniors.

Andrea Ramos
Director

Andrea is a Project Director at McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. She has been with the company for over 22 years, and a leader of the Education Services Group for 13 years. The main focus of this group is to be a community builder by working on renovations, remodels, and new construction builds to school campuses, from pre-k to universities, across the entire state of Arizona. Andrea not only has a passion for building in our communities where students learn and thrive in, but also the contributions she is able to make with STEM learning and CTE curriculum. She also participates annually in Arizona Construction Career Days and Skills USA at a state, regional, and national level. Andrea also takes great pride in her participation on the Education Committee for the Arizona Builders Alliance, recently helping with the formation of their Women’s Leadership Program.

Dr. Dawn Foley
Ex Officio Member & Advisor

Dr. Dawn Foley is an Arizona native and 4th generation educator. She has been in the field of education for 23 years. Dr. Foley has as vast background in education and has broad teaching experiences at both the preK-12 classroom and university level. Dr. Foley has spent the last 13 years as a district level administrator where she has dedicated her work to leading principals and teachers in the areas of curriculum and instruction.

Dr. Foley earned her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Literacy Instruction, from Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College at Arizona State University. Her expertise is in the areas of language and literacy. Over the years, Dr. Foley has served on several state level committees. She has also presented at numerous state and national educational conferences.

Dr. Foley is a dedicated professional who values collaboration and has exemplary work ethics. She is an inclusive leader who is deeply committed to supporting students, employees and families in the Higley District.

Dr. Foley is also a wife and mother and enjoys spending time with her family.
